There are a lot of things we like about this lodge in the Alpine village of Cortina d’Amprezzo, but we’d be lying if we didn’t single out the rather lovely view from the balcony as our standout highlight – from this spot, it’s possible to gaze out over the locale’s rooftops and dramatically beautiful mountains beyond.
Back inside, the interior design is as rustic as you might imagine, with an abundance of wood in everything from the walls and floors to the furnishings and finishes. A few pieces of artwork and natural decorative items lend a little character, while the horseshoe-shaped kitchen has enough space for cooking up hearty dinners when you’re fresh off the slopes.
Ah yes, skiing – there’s plenty of opportunity for winter sports here, with lifts up to the slopes lying within walking distance. Even closer, there are restaurants, shops and a museum within the town to explore.

Giorgio è stato molto gentile e molto professionale, l'appartamento era meraviglioso molto curato e pulito, con una splendida vista sulle montagne, ci ha pure fatto trovare qualcosa da mangiare come snack e della pasta e un sugo pronto per ogni emergenza.
La casa era a due passi dal centro e dallo stadio del ghiaccio, ma comunque in una zona tranquilla, sebbene ci fossero le olimpiadi e tanata gente in giro dall appartamento non si sentiva alcun rumore.
Lo consiglio davvero.
Giorgio was very communicative, secured our parking pass for driving in & around Cortina during the Olympics, provided local recommendations for restaurants and groceries, and Anna Marie met us at the property, gave us a tour, and directed me to the nearby parking garage. The apartment was spotless and well stocked; they even provided us with a welcome basket of goodies, including pasta, sauce and wine for a quick meal solution. The setting was beautiful with an amazing view of the Dolomites from inside through the large main room windows or outside on the balcony. The apartment was only a few minute walk to the curling venue, restaurants, and Piazzas Roma & Dibona. Check out was simple and host provided clear instructions throughout. Giorgio's place in Cortina is amazing! It is clean, comfortable, and plenty of space for the whole family. The location and especially the view can't be beat. Giorgio and family were great hosts and gave great recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and others spots around town. I would absolutely recommend staying here!
